Eimskip selects advisors to oversee preparations for the Company’s public listing on NASDAQ OMX Iceland
Eimskip has engaged Íslandsbanki and Straumur Investment Bank to act as advisors for the proposed listing of the Company on the NASDAQ OMX Iceland.

​The transport companies Skipafelagið Føroyar (Faroe Ship) established in 1919 and Eimskipafélag Íslands (Eimskip) established in 1914 concluded a contract to merge the ownership of the two companies effectively from 1st of July 2004. Eimskip expanded the activities in the Faroe Islands through the acquisition of the Heri Thomsen Group of companies in 2005 and the trucking division of the State owned Farmaleiðir in 2006.
